Carlmont High School Key Club

  • Officially chartered by the Kiwanis Club of San Carlos in 2007
  • More than 80 members each year — typically the largest on campus club
  • Part of Kiwanis District 34, Division 34 North consisting of Key Clubs from Sequoia, Carlmont, Mills Peninsula, Aragon, El Camino, South San Francisco, Lowell, and Washington high schools.

Key Club Motto – “Caring our way of life”

Key Club Mission – A student-lead organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character, and develop leadership.

Just some of their Community Service Projects

  • Monthly participation at 2nd Harvest Food Bank food packaging
  • Yearly participation at the Special Games to assist and lead a quasi Olympic games for more than 900 physically/mentally challenged children participants in Cupertino
  • Yearly participation at Toys for Tots in San Mateo Fire Department
  • “Breakfast with Santa” food service at the San Carlos Adult Community Center
  • Beach clean up
  • RTS Walk fundraiser
  • American Heart Association Walk fundraiser
  • My New Red Shoes fundraiser awareness
